“Click & meet” possible again from 12 May in Aachen
As the incidence rates for the StädteRegion Aachen have been below the critical rate of 150 for more than five working days in a row, "click & meet" in retail will be possible again from tomorrow, Wednesday 12 May. The rules that applied until 29 April will thus apply again.
A prerequisite for shopping according to the "click & meet" format still is a negative test result, which must not be older than 24 hours. In the ordinance regulating facilitations and exemptions from protective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, those who have been fully vaccinated and those who have recovered have been placed on an equal footing with those who have been tested (as Meuse-Rhine Gazette reported).
Further measures according to the Bundes-Notbremse (the federal emergency brake) are not yet overruled in the StädteRegion Aachen including the city of Aachen. Again, the following rule applies: the incidence rate must be below the threshold value – in the case of StädteRegion Aachen below the value of 100 – for five consecutive working days before the Land Nordrhein-Westfalen allows further measures to be repealed.
