What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
Facilitates strategic decision making by conducting primary & secondary research and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify key business issues leveraging internal and external data assets; translating the data into insights and make recommendations to key decision makers
Links country-level market intelligence and strategy with global portfolio and brand management in the assigned therapeutic areas
Employs advanced analytics tools to enhance practical experience gathered in key markets by country-level commercial organizations
Responsible for the conception and execution of overarching international market research studies in cooperation with internal clients, affiliates and external service providers
Coordinates multi-project management within EDI team (e.g. scoping, development project management and delivery of internal projects)
Helps building capabilities in the context of commercial analytics such as e.g. forecasting, quantitative decision support in operative units
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
Master or Bachelor Degree in business or science
Some years of relevant work experience (in strategic management consulting)
Excellent knowledge of advanced analysis and statistical methodologies and strong analytical and conceptional intellectual competencies, as well as empirical primary market research methodologies and tools
External data provider market knowledge (e.g. IQVIA) and open data for specialty therapeutics
Deep Knowledge of Pharmaceutical market
Ability to find out “useful and actionable insight” via selecting or prioritising from various information
Strategic thinking, logical thinking, and problem solving
Certification of project manager desirable
Communication skills (relationship building, presentation, facilitation, negotiation)
Fluency in Business English, additional language beneficial
