Digital Procurement Transformation Manager

What the job looks like Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Owning, challenging and further refining Global Procurement’s digital transformation roadmap

  • Driving the planning, co-ordination and management of associated digital projects (including budgeting, resourcing, etc.)

  • Achieving project deliverables and ensuring high quality standards

  • Identifying potential issues and alternative solutions and bringing digitalization ideas to the next level by exploring, evaluating, and prioritizing digital opportunities based on user needs, business context, technical feasibility, and other characteristics

  • Being the Champion for novel ideas and mobilize the organization to operate more efficiently through digitalization

  • Supporting and training users regarding software, interfaces, workflows, etc.

What you'll bring to the table To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • You have a university degree in science or business administration

  • You have a proven track record in project management of digital procurement solutions identification, implementation and integration at global or local levels

  • You have gained comprehensive functional knowledge in the field of strategic sourcing, purchasing and supplier relationship management ideally in a leading industry (e.g. consumer goods, high tech, automotive etc.) and/or management consulting with focus on digital procurement transformations

  • You are effectively managing internal and external stakeholders

  • You are fluent in business English (oral and written), additional capabilities in German, and/or Spanish language skills are beneficial

  • You have hands-on expertise in SAP/ECC/ERP-applications, any of the leading eProcurement softwares (e.g. SAP Ariba, Jaegger, GEP etc.) and extensive knowledge of the rapidly evolving niche/ specialized software market for procurement applications

  • Travel requirement: approximatively 20% - 30%
