Limburg Leads leads with "Business after Corona"

Limburg Leads, the Euregional business event that is set to take place on 16 and 17 September in MECC Maastricht, aims to present an adapted programme focussing entirely on entrepreneurship in the post-COVID-19 era.

Following the measures announced yesterday evening by Dutch Prime Minister Rutte, the organisation has also decided today that Limburg Leads will be a hybrid event. As a result, entrepreneurs who are not able or do not feel comfortable physically visiting the event will still actively participate in Limburg Leads online. According to the organisation, at the beginning of 2020, the need for solutions in the areas of Talent, Mobility, Sustainability & Circularity and Digitisation was shifted to 'Business After Corona' due to the corona crisis. Limburg Leads wants to present an adapted programme that offers handles and practical solutions in this uncertain period. By means of interactive presentations, panel discussions and master classes, the organisation hopes to provide answer to the most pressing questions the entrepreneurs have. Entrepreneurs will be able to participate (on pre-registration) in the panel discussion livestreams, master classes and presentations and/or schedule a one-on-one appointment with a participant or visitor that can take place with video conferencing. During and after the Limburg Leads webinars will also be offered and on the digital platform the various current themes can be discussed. The developments and measures surrounding the coronavirus are the main reason for offering these online possibilities. Moreover, the organisation believes that virtual trade fairs and congresses are the future and that this development has now gained momentum due to the corona virus. As is the case with so many other innovations at the moment.

Exhibition manager Jop Thissen:

"Hybrid events may well become the new way of networking in the post-coronata era and Limburg Leads is already taking the lead in this. This not only fits in with our innovative way of working, but also fits in perfectly with the wishes and even requirements of our target group. Ideas for Limburg Leads to take place partly online had already been around for some time, but Corona has now put them through at an accelerated pace".
