Oodles of Noodles opens as first noodle bar in Maastricht
By Tracey Taylor
With a huge love of food and a clear passion for hospitality, husband and wife team Le Binh Huynh and Nigel Hitches (of restaurant Le Courage fame) have taken the brave step of starting up another restaurant in Maastricht. They opened their doors on 1 May 2021 and it has been all-go since then!
Born from a love of authentic flavours and a desire for “real” noodle soup, they launched Oodles of Noodles - the city’s first “dedicated noodle bar”. The main concept behind this venture is to bring the fabulous flavours and fragrant aromas of the East to our lovely little corner of Limburg.
“I could eat noodles every day!”
says Le Binh, and with the delicious delights they have on offer with their start-up menu (this menu will be expanded a little more once restaurants can receive customers indoors again), it’s no wonder why.
Let us whet your appetite with the thought of Gyoza, Vietnamiese Spring Rolls, Dan dan men, noodle salads and various noodle soups with chicken, prawn and Sichuan beef. Hungry yet?!
Oodles of Noodles is open from 12:00-20:00 (closed on Mondays) and you can find them in Maastricht at Tongersestraat 13 – and based on their success so far, it seems that this could well be a lucky number!
I spoke to Le Binh and Nigel about their venture, watch their master chef in action in the video below.
