On Friday 13 September a new eco-friendly Liègeoise application was launched: Bike&Win. The application, designed to challenge cyclists who commute to their workplace and daily appointments, offers objectives and awards for a more playful commuting experience. Aiming at the increase of cyclist commuting, it would also participate in the long run to the decrease of CO2 emission within cities. Based on users collaboration, races, challenges and awards can be created by corporations (to encourage their employees) or individuals (for themselves and their cyclists friends). On top of the awards, the users also get access to statistics disclosing what they have saved by this choosing this commuting method: how much money they saved, how high their C02 emission would have been with a car etc. The application, available on both Android and IOS, is free for individuals and organisations.
